Try these 5 steps when you are lost in the fog! Let me know how they work for you.
1. The Topic
Be still for a moment and let your mind relax. Then ask yourself, “What in my life most needs attention?,” “Addressing what one thing will make the most difference? You might need to ask, “What am I ignoring?”
2. The Question
Imagine you had an all-knowing being sitting in front of you. Someone you trust and who will not judge, blame or criticize. You can feel free to ask anything you want. What is it you need to know about your Topic? Work on creating a question that expresses exactly what you need.
3. The Request
Write your Question on a piece of paper so it solidifies. Sit with it for a moment or two not making any effort to answer your Question. Just breathe and relax. Then silently ask for help in developing a clear answer to your Question.
4. The Belief
Suspend all disbelief you may be feeling at the moment and know an Answer will present itself. Believe it is out there, that you have the ability to find it, and that you fully deserve to find your answer.
5. Letting Go
Put your question away. From here you’ll trust your intuition to recognize when the answer starts formulating. Now, make the most of your day. Open yourself to others, without having any agenda. Give what you are able without expecting anything in return. And let go.
