Opening Hidden Doors is my company through which I offer Coaching. I respect the power of Coaching and like to incorporate its approach and way of being into all things I do. It supports my open way of thinking, my learning and my own personal growth and development – something I hold dear.
In 2008, while living in London, my life shifted into a new phase. Since then my concepts and beliefs, my truths, have been evolving. With my personal experiences, innate ability to connect with people and my newfound awareness I know I am equipped to help others make changes in their lives. Coaching is one way I can fulfill that purpose. In retrospect, my thinking has always been a little outside the box and I have always had an insatiable desire to know and understand people and life itself. So while I speak of a specific shift – I was always on a path to get here and am excited to see where I go.
I know that while wonderful, the personal self-development and awareness expansion I have been doing since 2008, has at times been difficult and even frightening. I want to be there for others as they grow, to provide support and encouragement, so they know they are not alone and not crazy.
Besides Coaching, some of the other things I offer are facilitating, speaking, educating and small business consulting.
As background, I have more than 35 years of corporate experience. I have a track record of continual involvement and success with new and challenging initiatives in the United Kingdom and the United States. My wide-ranging experience includes: successful coaching, start-up companies, software solution development, process improvement, staff development and leadership.
I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and St. Louis Coaches. My coach training is ICF approved and included segments on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Transactional Analysis (TA). The ICF is the leading global organization dedicated to setting high professional standards for coaches. My training was completed through Coaching Development Ltd. in London, UK and upon completion I received the honor of being selected to return and mentor for their program.
After having lived in London for more than seven years, I presently resides in St Louis, Missouri (USA). I am both a United States and British citizen.
